When can I see my test results in MyChart?

Test results are finalized and released to MyChart multiple times every day.
Results are released to you when they are finalized by a Laboratory, Radiologist, Specialist or Clinician who analyzes and interprets your test. The result is sent to your provider and to you at the same time, this means you may see your result before your provider has had a chance to review them.
Your provider will review and may comment on your results, just as they always have and will contact you with any concerns. Please give your provider a few business days to review your results. After that time, if you have a question, send your provider a MyChart message or call your provider’s office. Calling after hours will put you in touch with the on-call provider. It is always better if you can wait to discuss results with your provider as they know you best.

Why are certain test results not shared electronically via MyChart?

Your provider is able to determine if some types of test results have a delayed release to MyChart. Further, tests of a very sensitive nature may not released to MyChart. Some test results are not available if they were sent out or completed in a system that is not able to be displayed in MyChart. If you have a question about one of your results, please send your provider a MyChart message.

If some of my health information on MyChart is not correct, what should I do?

Your MyChart information comes directly from your electronic medical record at your doctor's office. Ask your doctor to correct any inaccurate information at your next clinic visit. Your health information is reviewed and updated in your electronic medical record each visit.

If I send a message to my doctor or nurse, when can I expect a reply?

You will generally receive an answer within 1-3 business days. Please note that MyChart should not be used for urgent situations. Please contact your medical center if the situation requires immediate attention or dial 911 if it is an emergency.

Can I ask questions regarding a family member from my MyChart account?
